Orders
Do I need an account to place an order?
No—checking out as a guest is quick and easy.
Creating a free Nowhere Near account unlocks a few perks:
- Track current orders and view your full purchase history
- Start a return or exchange directly from your dashboard
- Save shipping and payment details for an even faster checkout next time
Can I change or cancel my order after it’s placed?
If your pieces haven’t shipped yet, our team can:
- Cancel an item or the entire order
- Update your shipping address or billing details
- Swap a color or size (when available)
Once an order is packed we’re unable to merge separate orders or add new items, but you’re welcome to place a new order at any time.
My item arrived damaged / defective / incorrect—what now?
Email us at support@nwnear.com within 7 days of delivery.
Please include:
- Your order number
- A clear photo of the issue (damage, defect, or wrong item)
We’ll arrange a replacement or refund right away.
Payment & Duties
What duties or taxes will I owe?
Product prices shown on nwnear.com do not include local duties or import taxes. These charges, set by your country’s customs authority, are collected by the carrier before delivery.
Which payment methods do you accept?

All transactions are processed securely via Stripe. Double-check that your billing details match your card issuer’s records to avoid delays.
Which currency are prices shown in?
All prices are listed and charged in U.S. Dollars (USD), regardless of where you’re shopping from. Your bank or payment provider will handle any currency conversion.

Who is Nowhere Near?
We’re a collective of designers, curators, and storytellers obsessed with elevating everyday rituals. Each object we bring to the store is hand-selected for its craftsmanship, cultural resonance, and the small spark of joy it adds to a space.
Where are you based?
Our team is split between Boston, Vancouver, and Hong Kong, but we source pieces from independent studios and artisans across the globe.
What products do you sell?
Nowhere Near specialises in limited-run home décor—think sculptural tableware, artist-made ceramics, and statement accents that blur the line between art and utility. Every item arrives with the maker’s story, so you know exactly whose hands brought it to life.
Where do your products come from?
We purchase directly from the studios and workshops that craft each piece. This lets us guarantee authenticity, uphold fair-trade principles, and foster long-term relationships with our creators.
